New Media Retailer operates in collaboration with manufacturers, distributors and co-ops to provide online marketing programs for affiliated groups of retailers. We are proud to serve a customer base comprised of independently owned retail businesses in the feed, farm & home, pet, sporting goods, lumber, hardware, apparel, rental and gardening industries. For the independent retailer we directly manage a store website as well as social media and email marketing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Cold call on retail stores across the country in order to set up online presentations
  • Attend trade shows nationwide to sell our marketing programs
  • Follow up on inbound leads and conduct online presentations
  • Lead training sessions for sales reps in our affiliated programs
  • Work with territory managers to enhance prospecting efforts
  • Work with the management team to coordinate upsell strategies
  • Work with our service team to perform annual website reviews with current customers
  • Work with our onboarding team to help streamline the time it takes to get customers live
  • Effectively manage issues as they arise

We are looking for a self-starter to join our passionate team of Marketing Specialists. This person would be responsible for managing websites, social media accounts, and email marketing campaigns. Also would be the point of contact for up to 60 small to medium sized businesses. We understand that our employees have commitments outside of work, we offer flexible schedules including a 4 day work week or shortened hours on Friday!

Summary of Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting a wide range of customer initiatives. Maintains effective customer service and sales skills in order to conform to service standards and measured goals. Works with a group of customers to provide personalized service through both inbound and outbound calls, email and other communication mediums. Within customer grouping, works to identify key decision makers in order to develop and maintain strategic business relationships. Works to meet company standards and offer customers a quality online experience through web, social media and email marketing services.
