Web & Graphic Designer

New Media Retailer is looking for a full-time web & graphic designer! This position is responsible for designing websites and digital assets for small to medium sized independent retailers across the country. Our web designers work with our onboarding team to create the entire look and feel of a new website on behalf of the client, including creating a color palette, selecting typography, developing creative artwork, and applying any other creative expression to maximize the value for the customer! We are seeking a person with a passion for aesthetics, good organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and grow with a thriving digital marketing agency!


Web Designer Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of design projects.
  • Design page layouts and templates.
  • Produce design assets for use on our client’s websites.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, developers, onboarding, and customer service teams.
  • Select and prepare imagery.
  • Create and maintain a database of design assets.
  • Manage a pipeline of new website production.
  • Perform light HTML and CSS tasks on client websites when needed (online learning will be supplied by New Media Retailer)


  • Proficient in Photoshop & Illustrator.
  • Literacy in HTML and CSS.
  • One to three years of professional design experience preferred.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Good communication with coworkers.
  • Associates/Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design or other accredited online learning certification required.

Extra Credit:

  • Proficient in Bootstrap CSS & JS
  • Experience building websites on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, or Magento
  • Professional experience in UX/UI development.
Web Developer (JS & PHP)

Position – Web Developer (JS/PHP) & Front End Team Lead

We are looking for a Developer to lead a small team of front end designers and provide support to our Senior Developers. We primarily work on Shopify and the Laravel PHP framework. The role will be responsible for providing javascript and front end development support as well as technical leadership to their group. The successful candidate will also work with our Senior Developers to challenge themselves and deepen their own skill sets.

This position is remote, but candidates in Central NY or NC will be given priority.

  • Ensure their team can complete front end development requirements (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Shopify)
  • Empower other team members to grow their skill sets.
  • Occasional client facing calls (with other staff members)
  • Providing technical front end development answers to support staff.
  • Working on ongoing back end development projects with our Senior Developers.
  • A working knowledge of how the whole web stack functions. (server side/client side/APIs)
  • Strong HTML, CSS and Javascript skills.
  • 2+ years of PHP experience
  • Experience with Git

Position – Onboarding Project Coordinator

The Onboarding Project Coordinator will be our clients’ key point of contact from the time they sign up until they are ready to go live, working closely with clients to build quality ecommerce websites and understanding key initiatives within the account. An Onboarding Project Coordinator’s role is that of a trusted advisor, answering clients’ questions, gathering product information and facilitating daily communication between clients and our internal team. Onboarding Project Coordinator’s handle multiple projects at once and seamlessly keep all tasks on schedule.

The Onboarding Project Coordinator provides exceptional customer service, communicates clearly and is extremely well organized. Through the efforts of the Onboarding Project Coordinator, Liquid provides clients with beautiful, functional websites that drive ecommerce sales for their retail business.


Bachelors Degree preferred, or Associate’s degree and combination of education and relevant experience.
Preferred 1+ years project management or client service experience at a digital agency.
