How to Add/Remove Google Business Profile Users on Desktop and Mobile
Google now has you make edits to your Google Business Profile direct within search. Watch this video to learn how to add/remove users to your GBP from desktop and mobile (Google Maps).

[Please excuse any grammatical errors, transcript is machine generated]Hello, my name is Francesca. Thanks so much for joining me for another quick marketing tip. Today’s tip is actually an update to an old video. Since Google no longer has you make edits direct to your GBP, within the GBP dashboard, where you go to add, edit or remove users to your GBP has updated. So let’s jump into it.
You use to go to user dashboard, now they have you do everything direct in search, so I’m gonna head right there. You can get to this edit spot through two different ways. One simply Google your business name, as long as you are logged into the account that has access to the GBP, or two, again logged into that account, you can just Google my business, scroll down just a bit and hit view profile. Either way, it’ll bring you to this same page. So, to add, edit or remove users, you click these three little dots over here, and you go business profile settings. You’ll see a pop-up, and the first option there is managers, add, edit and remove profile managers. Go ahead and click that, and you’ll see a pop-up that gives you a few different options. One the ability to add additional users, I’ll get to that in a second, and two, you can simply view the other users on the page and see their permission level, owner or manager. And then click add, you enter the email address, you choose whether you want them to be an owner, or a manager, and you click invite.
Two quick call outs. One is the difference between owner and manager. The biggest difference is that owners can add, edit or remove other users, while managers cannot. Managers can simply view other people that have access to the page, but can’t make any changes to them. You can have multiple owners on a single GBP, so it’s up to you which permission level you want to give people. Once you hit invite, the person that you are inviting to the page does need to just accept that invitation before they’ll be able to make edits to the page. And I want to show you how to do this on mobile as well, so let’s jump there next.
To do this from mobile, I’m going to pull up the Google Maps app. Once there, I’m going to search for my business name. Once it appears, I’m going to click on it, and then I’m going to scroll up to get those three little dots in the upper right hand corner to appear. Once I see them, I’m going to click on them, and then click business profile settings, I’ll click Managers from there, and then you’ll see you have the same options to add, or edit other permission levels.
