Developing Relevant Content Every Season

Stay relevant and timely by taking some time to plan and prepare seasonal content.

Hello, my name is Francesca. Thanks so much for joining me for another quick marketing tip.

A new season is quickly approaching, and before we know it winter, and the holiday season will be here as well. Season changes are a great time to pause and plan, and put some time into developing some new content for the new season. This may mean planning some marketing materials, maybe some email campaigns, some website updates, or some social media posts around products that are brand new to your store, or products that you know are timely and relevant and may be big sellers for the new season.

Planning ahead gives you time to develop and implement. And guess what? Adding seasonal content to your website creates a great opportunity for your website to get indexed in search engines!

When seasonal content is done properly, it creates a great opportunity to attract some new customers to your store, as well as give current customers a reason to come back. It’s also a great opportunity to introduce some promotions at your store.

Seasonal content shows that your brand is relevant and stays timely, but also creates an opportunity to educate your customers about things that may matter to them right now. So as the fall is quickly approaching, I challenge you to take some time, maybe 15 or 30 minutes to sit down and develop some content that would really be a value to your customers for this season. I challenge you to do so again in the winter. And before we know it the holidays will be here, and what better time to plan and implement than for the holiday season when you know people will for sure be shopping.
