The Importance of Responding to Google Reviews
Hello. My name is Francesca. Thanks so much for joining me for another quick marketing tip. Today I have a super quick tip for you, respond to customer reviews. Why? It helps your local ranking customers trust reviews.
According to bright local, 79% of consumers trust online reviews as much as they trust personal recommendations.
It’s really considered your online verification method of whether or not someone should shop with you. Straight from Google’s website. Respond to reviews that users leave about your business. When you reply to reviews it shows that you value your customers and their feedback.
High quality positive reviews from your customers can improve your business visibility and increase the likelihood that a shopper will visit your location.
So let’s break this down. If you have a lot of five star reviews that means you’re offering some pretty great customer service, and Google responds to that by showing your business anytime there’s a relevant search. But not all reviews can be five star and Google understands that which is why they encourage you to respond to all reviews, not just good ones. Take the time to respond to bad reviews as well, and show your customer service online.
Now I get it can seem overwhelming. This entire topic can seem overwhelming and you often can be left feeling like where do I begin. For now, let’s just focus on responding to any reviews that you do get and challenge yourself try to respond to them within 24 hours.
