Using Customer Feedback in Promotions

Many businesses have realized the importance of customer feedback as well as recognizing the contributions made by invaluable consumers. Because it is always nice to hear from the customer to find out what they want, why not spice it up and make it fun?

As you plan ahead for upcoming promotions and featured items, there are many ways your customers can help you and get involved. One way to do this is to let your customers pick one of next month’s featured products or sale items.

Once you decide what your promotions will be for the upcoming month, set out a slip of paper next to the register that has four or five options on it. Allow customers to vote on which product they would like to be on sale next month by having a vote. The product with the most votes will have a special sale on it for the upcoming month.

This will allow you to see what your customers like for future reference as well as getting them involved. By listening to their feedback, it introduces a consumer friendly atmosphere to your store.
